Tackle It Tuesday
Check your calendars! It's Tackle It Tuesday at 5 Minutes For Mom.
With the kids home both Friday and Monday, my house has kind of gone by the wayside. I wouldn't trade it, though, because I got to spend some sweet, precious time with them. Hubby's been out of town, too, so I haven't had the strong urge to clean. That all comes to an end today, and I have a plethora of chores!
1. Laundry. I am 3 days behind, and it's out of control. I hope I can at least tame the monster today! After I take the boys to school, I will take a picture of the laundry pile, so you get a good idea of just how bad it is.
2. Floors. I need to sweep the dining room and kitchen, and I need to vacuum the bedroom and front room. I don't think a picture will show this, though.
3. Bathrooms. NO PICTURE. For one, neither of our bathrooms is good. They both need renovated. Of course, you need time and money to do that. There is writing on the walls with the plans of what we're doing, and paint stain on the tile. But trust me, it's Tuesday, and the bathroom needs clean.
In the middle of all this work, the cable guy (no, not Jim Carrey, the guy from Time Warner) will be here fixing my mess of cable. My TV only gets one channel because the box is broken, my cable phone is intermittent at best, and my internet is slow and spotty.

I hope you can get it all taken care of. When we have to take a day or two off of doing housework I always end having a mountain of laundry in the laundry room that I have to scale just to get to the washer and dryer!

Catch-up time! I did a little of that today, too, after the long weekend. But my main tackle was some more work on my sewing room. Hope you got your list done! ;o)
