Tackle It Tuesday
Better late than never, right? There's a reason though. Bear with me.
My Tackle It Tuesday is to BANISH THE BUGGIES. By that, I mean viruses. The flu. Yep, it's hit our house hard. And just in time for hubby to leave the state on a business trip. Mikey and I are both down for the count.
So today, the only thing I was going to tackle seemed pretty basic. Get Emily and Matthew to school with no problems. Head to Walgreens for Theraflu and Sprite. Take Emily and Matt to dance. The rest of the day was to be spent in bed. Mainly sleeping. And snuggling. And sipping Sprite. Matt rode the bus home and walked the two blocks, texting me the whole time. Hubby came back from his business trip. I had PLANNED to have Tackle It Tuesday be all about cleaning the windows, inside and out, to celebrate spring, but that will have to wait for another time.
In any case, I got it all done. The kids got to school just fine. I got to Walgreens. Em and Matt got to dance, and Darren picked them up. Hey, to throw in something extra, I actually had the energy to take a full shower instead of just a quick soap and rinse. Celebration!
Good for you! There's nothing worse than fighting off a flu bug, especially when everyone gets down with it. Glad you were able to get some rest and still get everything done. Windows can definitely wait! lol
